Vertical Lifts for Accessibility & Material Handling
From private homes to public buildings, we design and install lifts that fit your space and serve the people who use it every day.
From private homes to public buildings, we design and install lifts that fit your space and serve the people who use it every day.
At Elevator Service Company, we understand every lift project is different. A church adding wheelchair access to its stage has very different needs than a college kitchen moving food between floors, and both look nothing like a homeowner adding a platform lift to their front porch.
That’s why every ESCO lift project starts with an on-site evaluation. Our team assesses your space, your building’s construction, and your local code requirements before recommending a solution. We don’t sell one product for every application. Instead, we match the right equipment to the way your building actually works.
Whether you need to move people or move materials, we’ll help you determine the right type of lift, the right manufacturer, and the right configuration for your project.
Whether you need to provide vertical access for people or streamline how materials move through your facility, ESCO has the right solution.
Overcome vertical barriers indoors and out. Vertical platform lifts are the most cost-effective way to improve accessibility for homes, churches, schools, and commercial buildings without the construction demands of a full elevator.
Stop carrying heavy loads between floors. ESCO’s commercial dumbwaiter systems streamline operations and improve sanitation with stainless steel, food-grade configurations designed for high-volume facilities.
With different lift types, configurations, and manufacturers to choose from, the best place to start is a conversation. Our team will assess your space, walk you through your options, and recommend the solution that fits your building, your budget, and your goals.
If you’re interested in a lift system but want the fully automated experience of a traditional elevator, ask us about our Limited Use Limited Application (LULA) options. LULAs offers the look, feel, and automation of an elevator in a smaller, more cost-effective footprint. Press a button, step inside, and the doors close and the cab moves automatically with no button holding required.
LULAs are a popular choice for commercial buildings that need ADA-compliant vertical access without the full construction scope of a conventional elevator. We can also install them in high-end residences when homeowners want a larger cab and fully automated operation beyond what a conventional lift provides.
Lifts carry your loved ones and your staff. That’s why every ESCO installation is performed by IUEC-trained mechanics with rigorous safety education, state certification, and decades of hands-on experience. Our workforce includes fourth-generation tradespeople who have built their careers on getting installations right the first time.
ESCO doesn’t install lift systems then disappear. We can support every install with an ongoing preventative maintenance agreement to keep equipment running reliably through heavy use, weather extremes, and the wear that comes with daily operation. When something needs attention, our mechanics are local and responsive.
Serving Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts for over 75 years, ESCO is the largest independent elevator contractor in the region. We know the local codes because we’ve worked alongside regional inspectors for decades. Our experience leads to fewer delays, fewer surprises, and installations that pass inspection the first time.
