PVE manufactures the only air-powered elevators on the market. These self-contained systems use changes in atmospheric pressure to raise and lower the cab, with no cables, pistons, hydraulic fluid, or machine room required. The result is a transparent glass tube or glass cube elevator that can be installed in virtually any home with minimal construction.

Every ESCO mechanic meets the highest training and certification standards in the elevator industry. They represent the education, testing, and ongoing commitment that make our team the most qualified in the Northeast.

  • NEIEP Trained

    The National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP) is the gold standard for elevator mechanic education. ESCO’s team completes rigorous classroom instruction and hands-on training through this program, covering everything from hydraulic systems and electrical controls to code compliance and safety protocols. NEIEP training is what separates professionally educated mechanics from those who learned exclusively on the job.

  • OSHA-10 Certified

    Every ESCO mechanic holds OSHA-10 certification, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s standard for workplace safety awareness. This ensures our team operates safely on every job site, protecting both our mechanics and your property during installation, service, and repair work.

  • Union-Trained Workforce

    ESCO is one of the only union-backed elevator contractors in the Connecticut region. Every mechanic on our team is a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC), which means they have completed an apprenticeship program that includes extensive classroom hours, safety training, and supervised field experience before ever working independently. This level of structured education and accountability is rare in the residential elevator market, and it shows in the quality of our work.
